 Program Overview:
The Hamline University/CBS partnership can be either a semester or year long program. This program is offered by Hamline University in partnership with the Cologne Business School. Students who participate in the program during the Fall Semester will be automatically enrolled in a 4-credit course "The European Political Framework," which consists of two parts: "EU Law and Institutions" and "EU Policies."  Students who participate in the program during Spring Semester will be automatically enrolled in a 4-credit course "Introduction to European Business," consisting of the two parts "Economic Geography of Europe" and "European Economic History."  Additionally, students will enroll in two other 4-credit elective courses at the Cologne Business School and one 4-credit course in German Language. For ideas about elective courses offered in the past, please refer to the CBS site; please note that students will not finalize their elective courses until they arrive in Cologne.

Fall Semester 2018 (mid August - mid December): $22,400
Spring Semester 2019 (late January - June): $22,400

  • Program cost includes: tuition, home stay or double room dormitory housing, 2 meals a day (only if home stay accommodation is chosen), Cologne organized excursions, in-country Resident Director, health insurance.

  • Program cost does not include: round-trip airfare, meals (if dormitory accommodation is chosen), visa/resident permit fees (if applicable), personal expenses, additional travel, and additional coursework.

  • All Hamline, State, and Federal scholarships and grants will apply to the cost of this program. However, this program is not eligible for Tuition Exchange or Employee Dependent discounts.
