J-Term/May Term Course Proposal for Faculty
Short Term Faculty-Led Courses at the undergraduate level include J-Term and May Term Programs.
Faculty members can propose to design (in conjunction with the IOCP Office) and lead a short-term course abroad. The requirements and expectations for leading such a course are much more involved than simply teaching a course on campus; please read the "Guidelines for Proposing a Course" and "Course Policies" (available once you have logged in) carefully before submitting your proposal.
All full-time faculty members are eligible to propose a short-term course; approval of the Department Chair and the Dean of the School is required.
Once you click the "Apply Now" button, select that you ARE a registered Hamline User. You will then be able to log in using your Hamline Novel log-in and password, the ones you use to log into your computer.
After you are logged in, you will be asked to submit dates and locations for your program. THESE ARE APPROXIMATE AND CAN BE ADJUSTED, so select the most approximate ideal dates and your main destination for the program. You will then be taken to the main application page.
If you have any questions on how to log in to create an application or how to complete the application once you have logged in, please contact Christine Diaz-Higgins.
