Program Description:

Mykolos Romeris University is one of Lithuania's largest universities and houses a variety of departments with coursework offered in English. Business, political science and international relations, communications, and psychology are among the popular fields offered. The university enrolls about 10,000 students per year, and a large percentage of exchange students from Europe and the United States.

Language Notes:
English is widely spoken, and the majority of coursework at Mykolos Romeris University is in English. Lithuanian classes may be offered for interested students on a non-credit basis.

Estimated Cost: 
Students participating in the exchange at Mykolos Romeris University will be charged their typical Hamline tuition, a double dorm room, and the residential hall meal plan. Students will receive housing and meals in Lithuania. All Hamline, State and Federal scholarships and grants, including Tuition Exchange discounts, will be applied towards the cost of the program. Students nominated by the Global Engagement Center may be available for additional funding through the Erasmus+ Programme, to be administered by Mykolos Romeris University. Typical awards from the Erasmus+ Programme can be ~800€/month living stipend (for 5 month semester), and a portion of the international airfare expenses, based on distance traveled (~800€).

Program cost includes: Hamline tuition, double dorm room, and the residential hall meal plan costs.  

Program cost does not include: round-trip airfare, student visa, personal expenses, additional travel, and additional coursework.

All Hamline, State, and Federal scholarships and grants will apply to the cost of this program. However, this program is not eligible for Tuition Exchange or Employee Dependent discounts.
